Stewart is the owner and head beekeeper at The Norfolk Honey Company and presenter of the successful online YouTube channel "The Norfolk Honey Company" where he presents Stewart's Beekeeping Basics. Having started beekeeping in the 1980s Stewart has a wealth of beekeeping experience to share and his passion for beekeeping is only equalled with his desire to help new beekeepers make the most from their pastime and enjoy the pleasure of this fabulous hobby.In the late 2000s Stewart took time out to successfully complete a full time Science Degree focussing on Biology and Ecology at the University of East Anglia and subsequently spent time as a UK Government Seasonal Bee and Plant Health Inspector helping eradicate honeybee disease from fellow beekeeper colonies and assisting with advice on all aspects of beekeeping. Whilst working as a Bee Inspector Stewart also completed a City and Guilds Level 2 Award in Bee Health management and Safe Use of Veterinary medicines Stewart finally stepped out alone building his now successful beekeeping business supplying honey all over the UK, providing nucleus colonies and honeybee queens to local beekeepers and running a successful YouTube channel helping to improve the basic beekeeping techniques of many 1000s of new beekeepers.Stewart is currently chairman of his local beekeeping group which he set up whilst at university in 2009.
